(b. 1958
in Stuttgart, West-Germany) studied piano, composition and electronic
composition at the Cologne Conservatory. In 1992, he began devloping
computer-aided and combinatorial composition methods. In addition
to musical compositions, his work includes videos, music machines,
computer software, print editions and various productions with
international artists and groups. He has received numerous awards,
prizes and commissions as a composer and video artist, and has
been teaching composition and music theory at the Cologne Conservatory
since 2000.
